Our summer club is going well. Each week more people coming and we had 12 new people coming last night. It's quite a mixture of things: games and then a story and then activities that relate to the story.
It was the prodigal son yesterday so after the story we made bee hotels: a place for those incects who have been having ahard time recently to overwinter. We also made fruit cocktails for that party when the lost come home. We have unique creations from Bananarama to Chelsea Apple. Very healthy. In addition to that we made candle holders: glass jars decorated with tissue paper for a tea light that can sit at your window to let travellers knopw, there is a place to come home to. And then we had calligraphy where we c=wrote our names to let oursevles know, God knows our names and calls them frequently.
The coming week it is the story of the workers in the vineyard so we'll be doing everything from this to that. You can see what we get up to in the gallery upstairs in the new halls. But here's a wee taster:
