No time to stand still

Just to let you know that we met yesterday to get plans in place for Lent and easter edition of Spill the Beans. It is an endless but very exciting journey this because as soon as you put your feet up than they are back on the ground running again.

We've swapped stars for deserts, straw for dust and celebrations for questions. Isn't that how it always happens: you get all cosy and then the world conspires to upset the apple cart and heaven has to pick up her skirts (kilt ?) and rolls her sleeves up and takes on the world. Our is to either stand by and hold the handbags or in the dust that is created as the two bang heads together leave our footprints as we chase after them towards resurrection for others to follow...

I'll outline the passages we are going to be taking here and if anyone has any ideas that might work for them in their place as we explore these stories, then please feel free to chip in.

 

Sharing the Spills

Looking ahead to this week's Lectionary Texts, StB is focusing on the Epistle, with the theme Children of Light. How does living in light make a difference to our rituals on this Remembrance Sunday?
